Being the School half term a 2 train service is run all week on the Mid Hants Railway. The 2 engines in use were the Ivatt 2MT tank engine No:41312 and LMS Black 5 No:45379. It was only a short visit but I always enjoy going to the railway when its quiet and fairly decent weather. Enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

On the 17th and 18th of September the Watercress Line held an open weekend (also known as members weekend) This meant a lot of action happened on the railway. A couple of short clips from the Berwick St John steam and country fair this year. It was a really good show with lots of steam engines. The best part is that its free to enter the show, all they ask is for a donation towards a chosen charity.

The 28th of August of the Mid Hants Railway meant it was a diesel running day. This is one of the few opportunities in the year to ride behind a diesel locomotive. The locos were: Class 50 50027 'Lion' Ivatt 2MT 41312 Standard 4 76017 Enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

The Mid Hants railway were running a standard service 2 timetable today because of the school holidays, meaning that 2 passenger trains were running. They were in the form of: BR Standard class 4 76017 (Newly restored by the railway) LMS Ivatt 2MT tank engine 41312 Sorry for the wind noise in the first clip and thanks for watching!

This weekend on the Watercress line the Summer fayre special event was due to be held. The event was cancelled but the trains weren't, this meant a 2 train passenger service with a freight service too. This weekend at Amberley museum was the railway gala. I visited on the saturday of the event. It was a very good event and would recommend to anybody who has never been. Great video. Just a suggestion, cross the drive belt (figure 8) to the saw and reverse the engine. It prevents belt from rubbing table. I was luck to find a roller on Ebay. Ordered the Bix gas burner to prevent over firing. Looking for a remote control but they are unavailable for the moment.
My father used to tinker around with this engine back in the late 60s or early 70s.

Ram Runner I've seen one not make a full pull, it was a steamroller on smooth metal tires, lost traction 3/4 of the way down before it ran out of steam from spinning the wheels

Charles Rogers yes I believe that loco is the s15 828.
Really good video mate. When I go to the railway on their service two timetable during weekends and half-term holidays, I do like to see these locos in action.

You're welcome. ...Yes, it's a beast, saw it going round the arena on Sunday with the military vehicles, but the green stuff is not really my interest so i did not film it. Got too much footage alraedy from other gear. Seems the show is growing bigger every year....

The loco on the back is a simplex and the on the front is a (Ruston) Names Ashby and alister.
